Reading
Reading is done in a variety of ways during the school year. Various genres are studied and read. Short stories, novels, poems, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - Journeys reading series, newspapers, magazines, reference materials, teacher read-a-loud, AR time, and library time are some of the ways students are exposed to wonderful literature.
